Spring-loaded folding legs ensures minimum storage space need and quick release of the monitor from stowed position. Ground spikes on each leg ensures great stability of the monitor at any surface. To prevent the monitor to be forced backwards when used in low vertical degree angles, the monitor is delivered with an adjustable lashing strap with two carabiner hooks.

The nozzle on the monitor is a bronze heavy duty dual-purpose spray/jet discharge nozzle with 3 nozzle-tip settings. Each setting provides different flow patterns and reach. On the inlet side, a lever operated ball vale is mounted in order to control water flow direct at the monitor.

According to regulation vessels designed to carry five or more tiers of containers on or above weather deck, shall carry the following number of mobile water monitors:
- Vessels with breath less than 30 meters: at least 2 mobile water monitors
- Vessels with breath of 30 meters or more: at least 4 mobile water monitors
